The three artists will talk about their new work, Mammary Mountain, and share incredible stories, delving into the unique perspective it offers in empowering women and bringing to light the often overlooked struggles they face. Mammary Mountain is an intimate performative experience that explores ‘dis-ease’ within the body through the experience of breast cancer. This new interactive work tells the stories of women’s healthcare struggles, particularly on the hidden experiences of breast cancer treatment. The immersive VR exposes the idea of ‘dis-ease’ within the body and the body's relationship to the broader context of the land. The artists hope this work ignites new public engagement, ultimately resulting in a more nuanced and holistic understanding of the experience.

Sie sind auch eingeladen, an der Reise der Brustkrebs-Erfahrung teilzunehmen, die von Überlebenden und Patienten erzählt wird. Als „Patienten“ trägt das Publikum eine spezielle haptische Jacke, sitzt auf einem maßgeschneiderten Stuhl in Form von Brustdrüsen und nutzt ein VR-Headset, um diese intime Aufführung zu erleben.
